The Chestnut Foundation is a registered 501(c)3 non-profit corporation set up to meet
the goals described on our home page.

Our
two part mission is to provide medically-related equipment and supplies, in
addition to support to improve the quality of life for children in families with multiple
disabled children who need outside resources to accomplish this. We will also help
increase awareness of the serious neurological disorders which can occur in children.

Donna Hart, CEO and Treasurer
Donna became involved with this foundation because she also has the disabling illness Transverse Myelitis (TM). Her focus is on assisting famiies who have
children with this rare disease. Donna is Vice President of DJMHART LLC, a condo rental company and is a Board member of the Bala Cynwyd Library, Bala
Cynwyd, PA
.
Mary Ann Chestnut, President
The Chestnut children are Mary Ann's grandchildren. This inspired her to start the Shelby and Benjamin Chestnut Foundation.  Mary Ann's professional area
of expertise is pediatric nursing. This provides the foundation with much-needed medical insights and information.
Matthew Chestnut, Parent / Advisor
Matthew brings  to the foundation an enormous amount of expertise and information on interacting with government and community resource offices
necessary to gaining financial, medical, and equipment support for disabled children.
Lori Driscoll, Fundraising Advisor
Lori recently became involved in the Foundation and is committed to raising awareness in the local community for families in need with disabled
children.  Lori is a Strategy and Operations consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP and is active with the United Way Southeastern
Pennsylvania (UWSEPA) chapter as a member of their IT Advisory Board.

John assisted in setting up this foundation. He has a business background that includes sales, marketing and advertising. These skills plus his extensive PC
expertise make him a valuable resource for the foundation.
